Gillian Hanlon
Senior Business Services Adviser
After running her own cake and flower business for over a decade, Gillian decided to pursue a career change. She began her journey in accountancy with Open University, followed by obtaining a BA in Accountancy and Business.
With experience in both small and multinational firms, Gillian has focused primarily on the SME sector. With over 15 years of expertise, she excels in preparing weekly, monthly, and annual accounts, managing payroll, filing VAT Returns, and producing management accounts. Gillian is proficient in various accounting software and online business applications.
Gillian first joined Martin Aitken in 2017 and later returned in 2022. She is ACCA qualified, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team.
