Experienced within a busy accountancy firm? Completed your professional exams or experienced in both accounts prep and audit work?

If you’re used to a fast-paced client delivery role, proven yourself to be a strong communicator, and worked with stakeholders on multiple levels, then you should consider applying for our role. We are looking for two senior accounts advisers who wants to join one of Scotland’s leading firms of chartered accountants and financial advisors.

If you’re looking to take the next step in your career, then you’ll be joining an excellent accounts and audit team based in Glasgow, playing a vital part with wide ranging clients from small start-up businesses to significantly sized groups across a range of sectors.

Requirements

If you can: 

  • Show a solid understanding of the full audit cycle; planning, fieldwork, and completion
  • Prepare year-end statutory accounts, with an understanding of FRS 102
  • Delegate to junior members of the team whilst supporting them in their development
  • Build lasting client relationships
  • Research client accountancy issues and can hold meaningful conversations with clients and 
  • colleagues to the rules and regulations of doing business in the UK

And be:

  • ICAS or ACCA qualified
  • Aware of WIP and fee targets
  • Forward-thinking with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Able to or will have just started reviewing junior work
  • Keen for progression
