Ian is the financial controller for the firm and its associated companies taking care of the internal accounts. He is also our credit controller so hopefully clients don’t get a call from him too often. Previously responsible for accounts within the industrial sector he joined the firm in 1999 and now thoroughly enjoys his role within a professional services firm.

Ian enjoys relaxing with the family and is kept busy with his granddaughter.

As PA to Adrienne Airlie, no two days are ever the same and its certainly never dull! Christine joined the firm in 1978 and her wealth of experience is certainly invaluable to our Partners, staff and clients alike.

Christine enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She keeps sane via yoga and walking.

Sandra joined Martin Aitken in May 2006 having spent over 36 years working in tax! Sandra deals mainly with clients' personal tax affairs and specialises in medical practitioners.

In her spare time she enjoys reading and music, having spent a few years singing in a group, although now her singing is mainly confined to the odd Karaoke night!

Jim has almost 40 years tax experience within both HMRC & private practice. He specialises in assisting clients navigate the complexities of the Construction Industry Scheme.

Jim is married with a grown up daughter and, in his spare time, enjoys watching football and most other Sports. He also enjoys walking and attending the odd music concert.

Iain started with Martin Aitken in 2006 as an Accountant. His areas of expertise lie in audit and accounts and charities for our wide range of clients

Iain is a keen footballer and enjoys golf and going to the gym.

Andrew joined the firm straight from school in 2003 to take up the role of a Trainee Accountant. He progressed through the ranks and at the mere age of 21 he was one of the youngest ACCA graduates in Scotland. He works on a wide variety of clients in all areas of work, including accounts preparation, audit and tax.

In the spare time he does have, Andrew enjoys doing his voluntary work, reading, music and writing.

After bringing up her family, Latha made the brave decision to enter the world of Accountancy. She is now ACCA qualified and demonstrates a great deal of expertise in Audit, Accounts and Tax.

Latha loves travelling the world, not least because this allows her to pursue her hobby of collecting precious jewels and ornaments.

Jim joined us last year when we merged with A.S Fisher & Co. He has brought with him many years varied experience in the industrial, manufacturing and retail sectors.

Jim is very active in his local bowling club and also enjoys walking, watching rugby and spending time with his granddaughter.

Every good company needs someone who can take care of the day-to-day running of administration and Gordon is that person. As information retrieval officer Gordon is meticulous about his work, controlling our scanning process, filing and maintaining all the paperwork for the practice - adding greatly to the smooth running of the business.
